Cosima Carnegie // Cosi's Odyssey

Cosima Carnegie, aka Cosi’s Odyssey, is an ancient historian, writer, and presenter who is incredibly passionate about reimagining the ancient world for a modern audience. She has spent over 5 years working in classics and history outreach, striving to make classics, archaeology, and mythology more accessible and engaging. One of her recent major projects was scripting and presenting a tongue-in-cheek retelling of Homer’s Odyssey, shot on location in Corfu. She also writes a weekly newsletter on Substack, featuring guest writers, interviews, and her own pieces that tease out the connections between the ancient world and pop culture.

Cosi runs a wide range of events all over the world, working with artists, creatives, and fellow historians to host everything from jewellery making workshops to after hours museum experiences. Her most recent series of events reimagine the iconic ancient Greek practice of the symposium, inviting attendees to connect and indulge in immersive, sensory experiences with seasonal themes.
